A pectoral icon carved in bone, oval in shape, in the gold octagonal mounting with a headpiece. The figure of Archangel Michael is carved in high relief on the obverse of the icon. The Archangel is represented standing full-length holding a sword raised to the shoulder in his right hand and the scabbard in his left hand. The mounting is decorated with the filigree ornament and gems (turquoise and red stones). The cast image of Christ not-made-by-hand is in the headpiece.
Originates from the Convent of the Intercession at Suzdal.
